Review: 1001 Running Tips by Robbie Britton

1001 Running Tips book

1001 Running Tips by Robbie Britton is a comprehensive guide to all aspects of running, from the basics to more advanced topics. The book is divided into nine sections, featuring everything from training and nutrition to injury prevention and race strategy.

Britton, a former professional runner and coach, provides clear and concise advice on each topic, and he includes plenty of helpful tips and anecdotes from his own experience.

An aspect I liked about 1001 Running Tips is that it’s written for runners of all levels. Whether you’re a beginner just starting out or a seasoned veteran of the sport, you’ll find something useful in this book.

Britton also does a great job of explaining complex concepts in a way that’s easy to understand, and he always makes sure to emphasise the importance of listening to your body and staying safe.

Overall, I found 1001 Running Tips to be an excellent resource. The only thing it really could do with is information on specific workouts, and more illustrations and diagrams.

Otherwise, it’s a well-written and informative book that will help you to improve your running and enjoy the sport more.
